In 2004, Cyntoia Brown was arrested for the murder of a 43-year-old man. Cyntoia was a prostitute and he was her client.

The teen slice-of-life comedy follows Birch Small, a manga and anime fan with aspirations of being a comic artist, as she tries to survive high school.

Four students, who make money by putting stolen school items online, are hired to steal a VHS tape from their Physical Education Teacher’s Office. However, things take a turn for the worse, when they find dozens of tapes, and being kids, they dare each other to partake in watching them.

The shopkeeper František Diviš offers cheap goods at the fairs, while the co-owner of the traveling variety show Bohouš Vosáhlo offers unpretentious folk entertainment. They therefore meet very often. Neither of them earns a comfortable living from their work, but they do not allow themselves to worry unnecessarily. However, this changes when a little boy enters their lives. Pepík is an orphan, there is no one to take care of him, and both fairground vendors cannot resist the plea in the children's eyes...

Chod and his friends take a trip up the hill and get to meet Lum-nau who was up there to help develop and set up a small school to teach the hill tribe children. Chod and Lum-nau relationship is getting better and before he leaves the hill, he gives her his address in Bangkok.

The film is about the fisherman Styopa, who alone survived the sinking of a fishing vessel.
